Have you been noticing colourful spools of tape on the tip caps at your craft retailer?  And the title on it…Washi tape?  What on this planet?!?

I like to consider Washi tape because the extra refined model of colourful/patterned duct tape.  I made a decision to “Washify” a set of plain glass canisters.

These canisters could be nice for holding provides, prize field tickets, an emergency stash of chocolate, you title it!  If glass within the classroom freaks you out, plastic or metallic containers would work simply as properly.

This was my first Washi tape expertise and I discovered it very simple to work with!  Here’s how I did it:

I discovered some plain glass canisters at Cost Plus World Market and Washi tape at Michaels.  I additionally used scissors a wax paper.

I made a decision on a bunting banner design.  To reduce the tape into your required form, first stick a chunk of tape on to wax paper.  Then reduce out the form you need.  Now you possibly can peel off the form like a sticker and put it in your mission.

To “create interest” (as my sixth grade artwork trainer would say) I alternated colours and sizes of tape in my banner.

To end every canister off I wrapped a stripe of tape across the backside.

There you could have it!  From plain to “Washified!”

Fill ’em up and also you’re golden!
